At PGH Badulla, we have created a child-friendly environment where children feel comfortable and supported. Pediatric specialists expertly trained in nearly every field possible are dedicated to making the hospital experience positive for both children and their families.
Department of Pediatrics consists of two pediatric units including Thalassemia unit. Thalassemia unit functions under the consultant Pediatrician of ward 23 and it was shifted to the new building along with the pediatric unit (wd 23) in order to acquire more space.
Our pediatric units deliver comprehensive in-patient and outpatient services for the entire range of pediatric disorders.
